OUR PROGRAM | The Graduate Program in Genetics and Molecular Biology (PPGGBM) aims to train professionals to develop innovative and high-quality scientific work in the fields of Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Bioinformatics. It is the first program in the northeast region of Brazil to offer master's and doctoral degrees.

The program has a single area of concentration: GENETICS, MOLACULAR BIOLOGY AND BIOINFORMATICS, which includes two Lines of Research: (1) MOLECULAR GENETICS AND EVOLUTION and (2) MOLECULAR BIOLOGY AND BIOINFORMATICS. It features a network of integrated laboratories, internationally recognized professors, funded projects, and a high-quality scientific production, alongside national and international public and private partnerships. PPGGBM is committed to the continuous improvement of its administrative and academic procedures to fully achieve its scientific, technological, and social objectives.
